Whittier Community Foundation Meeting
Parks, Recreation & Community Services - Community Services
The Whittier Community Foundation's mission is to support the community services activities for the education and enjoyment of the greater Whittier Community and to develop funding for new community services programs. Next meeting at the Whittier Police Station Community room, 13200 Penn Street, Whittier, CA at 8:30 am.

Need help getting through to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, ‪#‎Medicare‬, Social Security Administration, or ‪#‎IRS‬? Come to the Central Library @ 10:00 a.m. today.  A member of her staff will be here to help with various services. Community Office Hours take place the 1st Wednesday of the month.

Veterans and their families are welcome to drop in. Volunteers (trained by CalVet) are on-hand to answer basic questions about benefits, provide referrals and help with job searching, and more. Open Monday - Friday 10am-2pm. Located in the Mezzanine.
