Whittier's Churches

"Whittier's Churches." From Whittier, California published 1902 by the Board of Trade (later Chamber of Commerce).

Archives supporting the Whittier History Collection consist of newspaper clippings, periodicals, pamphlets, and ephemera. The button below will take you to a searchable database of finding aids that list all archive items, with a brief description.

An important part of the Whittier History Collection Archives are the Vertical Files, which consist of 12 linear feet of newspaper clippings and other material on various topics in Whittier history. The Vertical Files are organized by subject, and include many newspaper articles from years of the Whittier Daily News that have not yet been digitized (1955 onward).

See the Research Appointments page for information on making an appointment to use these materials for your research.
