After retiring at age 60, Lee Gale Gruen started attending an acting class for seniors just as a pastime. A few weeks later, her mother died. Seeing her 85-year-old father so grief-stricken, she invited him to come to class with her. That began a magical journey of bonding and learning about life in the twilight of theirs. For three years, they performed numerous times in the class showcases, and became a popular, father-daughter acting team adored by their audiences.
