The Whittier Public Library welcomes volunteers of young adults through senior citizens. Our volunteers contribute their unique talents, skills and knowledge to enhance our goal to be a community doorway to reading, resources, and life long learning. Whether it's a short term project, or a regualry scheduled task, volunteers work to enrich our programs and services throughout the Whittier Area.

Volunteering at the library offers enjoyable work as well as the satisfaction of knowing how much your efforts benefit your community. It requires a commitment of your time, usually on a regular schedule, plus participation in some basic orientation and training. There are many volunteer opportunities available at both libraries. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at your local library for a list of volunteer opportunities currently available.
