On 05/27/16 at about 1:30pm, an armed robbery occurred at Baskin Robbins, 15234 Whittier Blvd. After entering the store, the suspect went behind the front counter, produced a black semi-automatic handgun and ordered an employee to hand over the money from the cash register.

Bicycle Safety Traffic Enforcement Operations Planned for Whittier
Whittier Police Department will step up bicycle safety enforcement operations on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, with focused enforcement on collision-causing factors involving motorists and bike riders. Special patrols will be deployed to crack down on drivers and bicyclists who violate traffic laws meant to protect all roadway users.
