DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint Planned this Weekend

Whittier, CA – The Whittier Police Department Traffic Unit, part of the Los Angeles County Avoid DUI Task Force, will be conducting a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on 07/17/15, at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 7:30pm – 3:00 am.

Woman confronted by man in alley
Santa Fe Springs, CA--On Sunday, July 5 at 7:45am, a female Downey resident was visiting relatives in Santa Fe Springs. As she was walking in the east alley of Pioneer Blvd. just north of Houghton, she was confronted by a male adult in his early 30’s driving a black SUV—possibly a Ford Explorer.
