Law Enforcement is a dangerous profession. Police officers face very dangerous people and deadly situations daily. In carrying out the duties they swore to perform, officers some times make the ultimate sacrifice. Two of Whittier's finest officers did not come home at the end of their shifts.

This page is dedicated to Whittier Police officers Mike Lane and John Pierce. Both were killed in the line of duty while protecting the community against dangerous criminals. They will never be forgotten.
