Whittier Police Department will be accepting online applications for Police Officer.  Laterals, academy-trained, and entry level applicants will be eligible to apply.   

 Police Trainee:                                          

• (Pre-Service) Currently attending or graduated a Post-certified academy within 6 months
• (Entry-Level) No academy training or those who attended/graduated an academy beyond 6 months ago.

 

Lateral Police Officer:

·       Full-Time Peace Officer currently employed by a POST-certified agency. Qualified candidates must be off probation and must have earned their POST certification at time of application.
