Whittier Police Investigate Injury Hit & Run Traffic Accident
OnAugust 30, 2015 at approximately 12:21am, the Whittier Police Departmentreceived a call of a traffic collision at the 5700 Block of Norwalk Boulevard,involving a vehicle that struck a pedestrian.

Whittier Police Investigate an Officer Involved Shooting
On August 31st, 2015 at approximately 11:50pm, a Whittier Police Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop in an alley at the 12700 block of Whittier Boulevard. As the officer initiated the stop, a male passenger exited the vehicle and pointed a handgun at the officer. Fearing for his life, the officer fired several times at the suspect. The suspect fled from the location on foot along with another male passenger.

On August 23, 2015 at approximately 4:04pm, a Whittier Officer responded to the 7600 block of College Avenue in the City of Whittier, after witnesses reported a possible domestic argument on the sidewalk to the front of the location.
