Shooting in Whittier
August 30, 2014 

At 12:11 pm, Whittier Police Officers responded to the 8000 block of Washington Avenue, in the city of Whittier, regarding a subject who had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, who was non-responsive. Officers initiated CPR. The victim was transported to USC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The victim is a male, 34 years of age and is a resident of Whittier. The victim’s name is being withheld pending family notification. The investigation is ongoing.
