November 30, 2016  Last year the Whittier Police Department partnered with the Family Adoption Project and the nonprofit Whittier Police Officers' Association to make Christmas a very special experience for some local families.

New Whittier Mental Health Evaluation Team – WMET
October 19, 2016  On September 20, 2016, the Whittier Police Department launched the Whittier Mental Health Evaluation team (WMET) to address the growing need for mental health services in our community.
