Composite Sketches Released

On June 26th at about 9:30am a kidnapping occurred from the 13400 block of Franklin Street in the City of Whittier. The victim, a 12-year-old female, was in front of her residence when she was approached by a suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim and placed her inside of a 2000-model green four-door Chevy Malibu or similar type sedan. The victim recalls seeing an additional suspect inside the vehicle.

The victim was driven a few blocks away until the suspects stopped and exited the vehicle in the 13200 block of Dittmar Avenue. While the suspects were away, the victim was able to flee from the vehicle and then ran to a nearby adult for help.

The suspects were described by the victim as:

Suspect #1: Male Hispanic in his 20’s, black hair with a beard. He had a shaved line across his left eyebrow and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect #2: Male Hispanic in his 30’s, shaved head wearing a white tank top, tan pants with a “dragon” tattoo on his right bicep.
