New State Economic Development Incentives

July 24, 2014  Whittier, CA – The Whittier Police Department Traffic Unit will be conducting a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on Friday July 25, 2014, at an undisclosed location within the city limits of Whittier between the hours of 7:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

Attempting to Locate Missing Female

The Whittier PoliceDepartment is seeking the assistance from the public in locating a missingchild. Catherine Tinnes, a Whittier resident, is a 12-year-old female,described as being 5-08, 170 pounds, having long straight brown hair, browneyes, wearing a white tank top, pink shorts and brown sandals. She was lastseen on July 18, 2014 around 11:50pm at her parents’ house.
