On Saturday, June 3rd at approximately 4:30 pm, officers were dispatched to the13000 block of Whittier Blvd. in the City of Whittier, regarding an auto burglary that had just occurred. The victim had parked her car in the parking lot of the business and though she locked the doors, left her purse inside. When she returned a few minutes later, she found the window to her car had been smashed out and her purse had been taken.

According to witnesses, the suspect vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene. A short time later, officers were able to find the suspect vehicle and the suspect was subsequently arrested.

Arrested was 31-year-old David Noriega of Whittier. He was booked and charged with auto burglary. His bail has been set at $20,000 and he is due to be arraigned this morning at Bellflower Court. #whittierpd #seesomethingsaysomething #lockittakeitkeepit #crimeprevention
