| |  | | Two Arrested for Attempted Burglary of a Pawn Shop
Posted On: April 11, 2012 On April 11, 2012 at approximately 12:56am, officers responded to an alarm call at 14158 Lambert Road. When officers arrived they discovered three crowbars wedged into the backdoor of the business. As they continued to search the location, the officers located two suspects on the roof of the business. Immediately after being spotted, the two suspects attempted to flee the location, while the officers set up their containment. After an extensive search of the business and surrounding area, the two suspects were located hiding in a parked car down the street from the Pawn Shop. Both suspects were identified by officers as the individuals on the roof of the Pawn Shop and both were arrested for attempted burglary. Arrested: Steven Parker, a 22-year-old resident of Compton. Steven is being held at the Whittier Police Department on a “No Bail” hold and for the attempted burglary of the Pawn Shop. Arrested: Darrell Parker, a 23-year-old resident of Bellflower. Darrell is being held at the Whittier Police Department on 20,000 dollar bail for attempted burglary of the Pawn Shop.
