| |  | | Three Arrested for Residential Burglary
Posted On: April 25, 2012 On Tuesday April 24, 2012 at approximately 2:10pm, Whittier Officers received a call of a possible residential burglary in progress in the 6700 Block of Hillside Lane. When officers arrived, three males (unknown to the area) fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit one of the male suspects was taken into custody, while the other two suspects attempted to hide. Whittier Officers contained the area and began an extensive search for the outstanding suspects with the assistance of the Whittier, Monterey Park and South Pasadena K-9 units. During the three hour search, both outstanding suspects were located and apprehended by the Whittier and Monterey Park K-9 units. During the apprehension, one of the suspects received a bite from the Whittier K-9, while the other suspect received a bite from the Monterey Park K-9. Once both suspects were in custody, they were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries sustained during the K-9 apprehension. Arrested: Villanueva, Horacio is a 21-year-old resident of Norwalk. He is being held at the Whittier Jail for residential burglary charges and a warrant. His bail is set at 51,161 dollars. Arrested: Camacho, Francisco is a 24-year-old resident of Hawthorne. He is being held at the County Jail for residential burglary and possession of stolen property. His bail amount is set at 50,000 dollars. Arrested: Ramirez, Samuel is a 21-year-old resident of Inglewood. He is being held at the County Jail for residential burglary and possession of stolen property. His bail amount is set at 50,000 dollars.
