Three Los Angeles men arrested for burglary in Santa Fe Springs

Santa Fe Springs, CA--On Wednesday, May 9th at approximately 9am three males were caught in an attempted residential burglary in the area of 10200 Harvest Ave.  The Whittier Police Department received a phone call of three males possibly burglarizing a local residence.  The first officer to arrive detained the vehicle and it's driver; two other males were seen running through the neighborhood and were subsequently arrested with evidence of the burglary in their possession.  The property was returned to the victims. Desmen Mixon, 19 and two 17-year-old male suspects from Los Angeles were booked into the Whittier Police Department Jail.  The juveniles were subsequently sent to Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall. 

The Whittier Police captured three burglary suspects on Tuesday, May 8th in Whittier, but it does not appear the two groups are related.
