๐Ÿ’ฌ Talk: Ultra-Faint Dwarf Galaxies and Cosmic Evolution

 Dr. Katy Rodriguez Wimberly is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at CSU San Bernardino, specializing in Near-Field Cosmology and galaxy evolution, particularly in ultra-faint dwarf galaxies.   She will share how her studies offer a unique window into the first generation of stars and the nature of dark matter, and how Ultra-faint dwarf galaxies help us learn more about the Early Universe.

 Attendees will also get treated to a delicious cup of coffee provided by Angeles Coffee @angelescoffeecart
