Join us Tuesday, April 28, 2026, for a regular meeting of the Whittier City Council, featuring a reception, certification of the 2026 General Municipal Election results, and City Council reorganization.
A reception with light refreshments will be held at 5:30 PM on the front lawn of Whittier City Hall (13230 Penn Street).
The City Council meeting begins at 6:00 PM.
Following certification of the election, the meeting will recess to the front lawn for the swearing-in of our newly elected Council Members:
Mayor-Elect James Becerra
Council District 2-Elect Vicky Santana
Council District 4-Elect Aida Susana Macedo
The swearing-in will be held outside to accommodate more guests, as seating is limited in the Whittier Council Chamber.
