Directions to City Hall
From the 605 Freeway
Exit at Whittier Boulevard. Turn left (if coming from the north) or right (if coming from the south) onto Whittier Boulevard heading east. Take Whittier Blvd. about 3 miles and turn left on Penn Street and continue until you reach City Hall located at 13230 Penn Street. (Note: There is a sign on the right indicating Penn Street and a left turn lane, but no stop sign or traffic signal). Parking is available in front of City Hall (2-hour limit) or Washington Avenue.
From the 5 Freeway
Exit at Carmenita Avenue heading north. Continue north until Carmenita turns into Painter Avenue (intersects and changes at Telegraph Road). Continue north on Painter Avenue (cross Whittier Boulevard). Turn left on Penn Street and City Hall is on the left. Parking is available in front of City Hall (2-hour limit) or Washington Avenue.
From the 60 Freeway (heading west)
Exit at Hacienda Boulevard. Turn left on Hacienda Boulevard. Turn right on Colima Road heading south into Whittier. Turn right at Mar Vista Street (intersection of Colima Road and Mar Vista Street). Turn right on Painter Avenue heading north. Turn left on Penn Street and City Hall is on the left. Parking is available in front of City Hall (2-hour limit) or Washington Avenue.
From the 91 or 105 Freeways (East or West)
Take either freeway and enter onto the 605 Freeway north. Exit at Whittier Boulevard. Turn right onto Whittier Boulevard heading east. Take Whittier Blvd. about 3 miles and turn left on Penn Street and continue until you reach City Hall located at 13230 Penn Street.
