The City’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) unit works with all City departments to create map and data products for visualization, planning and strategy, effective resource management, reporting, and field operations purposes. The GIS unit also supports mapping components of City Enterprise Systems. To download citywide GIS data, use the Whittier GIS Open Data Portal.
