"Go Store It" is a proposed project which seeks approval to allow the new construction of an approximately 150,320-square foot, five-story self-storage building including an approximately 400-square foot ancillary leasing office, and 59 vehicular parking spaces and three loading spaces (the “Project”).  The Project will be located at 12090 Whittier Boulevard in the City of Whittier (the “City”) on approximately 1.70 gross acres (74,223 square feet), which comprises the 1.43-acre subject property and the adjacent 0.27-acre former California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Right-of-Way (ROW) that is now City of Whittier Right-of-Way (ROW) (the “Project Site”).  The City will transfer the ROW to the Applicant in exchange for the Applicant constructing a total of 59 parking spaces.
 

The project consists of the following applications/entitlements:

  • Development Agreement
  • Mitigated Negative Declaration with a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program;
  • Specific Plan Amendment No. SPA25-0001 to amend the land uses and development standards contained within the Lincoln Specific Plan;
  • Tentative Parcel Map No. TPM25-0001 (TPM 84806) to consolidate two parcels into a single 1.70 gross-acre lot;
  • Development Review No. DRP25-0022 to construct and operate a 998-unit, five-story, self-storage facility (Go Store It)
